Plant Fairs Roadshow at Borde Hill Garden

The Plant Fairs Roadshow (PFR) has seen a huge explosion of interest in their work over the last year, with people wanting to visit the venues they choose and to buy from the people who propagate and understand the often rare or unusual plants that are unavailable in the garden centres.

The Plant Fairs Roadshow have exhibited as a collective over the last couple of years at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show and this, along with clever marketing online, has helped raised the profile of their events, and drawn in even more customers.

Paul Seaborne, owner of Pelham Plants in Sussex, and chair of the PFR says: “Consumer habits are changing, and people seem to really enjoy chatting to the grower and getting lots of advice on how to grow the plant on themselves, they also like the fact that the Plant Fairs Roadshow team can guide them using the principle of 'right plant right place', meaning they have more success and aren't impulse buying in the garden centre - they're really getting what they need for their own particular space.
